Who We Are
Uhai Centre Church is an apostolic ministry rooted in Kiambu Town, in the Rockline area of Kiambu County, Kenya. We are part of the Fountain Gate Church family — a network of churches committed to the full gospel and the mission of Christ in our generation.
Our name, Uhai — the Swahili word for “life” — captures our heart. We exist to give people a fresh beginning in Christ: to reach the lost, disciple believers, equip saints, and send them out to transform society holistically. Whether you have walked with God for decades or are taking your first step toward faith, you are welcome here.
Known for SWAT (Spiritual Warfare And Training), our vibrant children's and teens ministries, and the Uhai School of Apostolic Ministry (USAM), we are a church where every generation finds a home and a calling.
Our Story
In February 2009, Uhai Centre Church was planted in Kiambu Town with a simple but audacious conviction: that God was calling a people in this community to receive a fresh beginning in Christ.
What started as a small gathering of believers has grown into a community spanning multiple generations and ministries. Located opposite Radiant Hospital in the Rockline area, our doors have always been open to anyone searching for life, hope, and purpose.
Today, Uhai Centre Church stands as a testimony to God's faithfulness — shaped by the dedication of our pastoral team, the commitment of our church family, and the unchanging power of the Gospel.

Church Founded
Uhai Centre Church was planted in Kiambu Town — the beginning of a community called to give humanity a fresh beginning in Christ.
Our First Home

Ministry Expansion
Launched multiple ministries including SWAT, Children's Ministry, and community outreach programs to serve Kiambu and beyond.
USAM Established
Founded Uhai School of Apostolic Ministry — equipping and sending believers into kingdom service.
Online Ministry
Extended our reach through digital ministry, bringing the Word to people across Kenya and beyond every Wednesday night.

Pastor Edwin and Rizanael oversee our worship ministry and marriage preparation programs. They are dedicated to leading the congregation in heartfelt worship and helping couples build strong, God-centered marriages.

Youth Ministry & Career Counseling
Pastor John and Grace are passionate about empowering young people to live bold lives for Christ. They provide career counseling and coordinate SWAT, our interdenominational youth gathering.

Pastor Francis and Shellie focus on nurturing our teenagers and leading our church band. They create engaging programs that help teens develop their faith and talents.
